Null's Brawl Beginner's Guide

In official Brawl Stars, unlocking a single brawler at max level can take weeks of grinding or significant spending. Null's Brawl removes that wall entirely. Every brawler, over 100 of them, is unlocked at Power 11 with every gadget, star power, and hypercharge active the instant you create your account. Gems, coins, and Power Points are unlimited. The entire cosmetic catalog is available. You are not playing a stripped-down version: the game engine is the same, the maps are the same, and the meta is the same, you just skip the progression treadmill. Null's Brawl runs on its own private server, which means your official Brawl Stars account is completely unaffected.

   Download the Null's Brawl APK

   Head to the [download page](/download-nulls-brawl) and tap the download button. The APK is around 290 MB, so use Wi-Fi if possible. Wait for the download to complete fully, a partial file will fail silently during install with no useful error message.

   Enable Unknown Sources for your browser or file manager

   Because the APK is not from the Google Play Store, Android requires you to allow installs from outside sources. Go to Settings > Apps > three-dot menu > Special Access > Install Unknown Apps, then enable it for whichever app you used to download the file. On Samsung, this is under Settings > Apps > Special Access. On Xiaomi, look under Settings > Manage Apps > Special App Access.

   Tap the APK file and install

   Open your downloads folder and tap the APK. Android will show an installation confirmation screen, tap Install and wait 30 to 90 seconds. If Google Play Protect flags the file, tap More Details then Install Anyway; this is an automatic warning triggered by the install source, not a specific finding about this file. Once installed, Null's Brawl appears as a separate icon from official Brawl Stars.

When you open Null's Brawl for the first time, you will see a login screen for Null's Connect, the private server's own account system, separate from Supercell ID. Create your account before you do anything else. Your Null's Connect credentials are the only way to recover your progress if you reinstall the app or switch devices. The system requires only a username and password, no email address, so there is no password reset option. Write your credentials down somewhere safe. Once you are logged in, all your brawler unlocks, club memberships, and match history persist across devices and reinstalls as long as you can log in with the same username and password.

Having every brawler unlocked is great, but it can be overwhelming. Each class plays very differently, and jumping into a high-skill-ceiling assassin on day one will be frustrating. Start with a forgiving brawler from the Tank or Fighter class, they let you learn positioning and super timing without punishing every small mistake. The table below shows the five best starting brawlers and what they teach you.

• Gem Grab: 3v3 mode where one player collects gems from the center; great for learning teamwork and the cost of dying while holding gems
• Showdown (Solo): 10-player battle royale where you play at your own pace; ideal for experimenting with brawlers without letting down a team
• Brawl Ball: 3v3 soccer-style mode with a clear win condition; teaches you to balance offense and defense and use your super at the right moment
• Heist: 3v3 where both teams attack and defend a safe; low-pressure on defense and teaches you to push through enemy lines
• Hot Zone: 3v3 zone control mode; teaches you when to hold a position and when to rotate, which applies to almost every other mode

Super charging: your super meter fills as you deal damage. Aggressive brawlers like Shelly and El Primo charge super quickly in melee range, while marksmen like Colt charge it more slowly from range. Always be aware of your super meter, an uncharged super means you are at half strength. Use your super offensively to push fights, not just reactively when cornered. Cover and wall poking: most maps have destructible and indestructible walls. Standing behind a wall and firing diagonally around it is called wall poking. It lets you deal damage while minimizing exposure. Brawlers with wide-spread attacks like Shelly and wide projectiles like Rosa's punches are especially good at this. Bush hiding: long grass hides your position until an enemy enters the same bush or reveals you with an attack. Tanks like El Primo and Rosa use bushes to close distance without taking damage. Check every bush before walking through it and use the grass to reposition during teamfights. These three mechanics, super management, cover usage, and bush awareness, separate players who win consistently from those who struggle.

Clubs in Null's Brawl work the same way as in official Brawl Stars. Open the social tab and search for clubs by name or tag, or create your own. Playing with club members in 3v3 modes is a significant advantage over random matchmaking because you can coordinate picks and strategy in club chat. Most active clubs also share tips on current meta brawlers and mode-specific builds. If you are new, look for clubs marked as open with no trophy requirement, they are more likely to be welcoming to beginners.
